Hiring a day boat is a great way to experience the sights and sounds of the Norfolk Broads from the water. Enjoy a great family day out visiting the towns and villages along the Broads and stopping off for lunch at one of the many riverside pubs. Free mooring is available throughout the Broads at Broads Authority 24 hour mooring sites.

Our Norfolk Broads day boat hire is perfectly located on the River Thurne in the village of Potter Heigham.

Each day boat can accommodate up to 6 people which makes them ideal for exploring the Norfolk Broads with friends or family.

Alternatively, spend the day cruising in style aboard one of picnic boats, perfect for a relaxed adventure on the water. No previous experience is necessary—our team will provide a full tutorial and safety briefing before you set off – you will be provided with a tutorial by one of our knowledgeable staff, life jackets for all passengers, a full tank of fuel and a map of the Norfolk Broads.

Please Note. There must be at least two adults on board the boat at all times. 

Day boats are available on a first-come first served basis by visiting our premises. We advise arriving early during high season to avoid disappointment.

26th October to 2nd March 9am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday only.

 

We are currently permitting day boats to pass through Potter Heigham Bridge to access Hickling Broad. Please note that this is under active review and may be subject to change at any time
